Join Photojournalist Glenn Lockitch for this fun and informative half day Workshop.

This is a beginner to intermediate level technical, practical, and creative photography workshop.

Street photography encompasses many exciting genres of photography. Choosing that crucial moment when to press your camera’s shutter button at the instant glance of a passing pedestrian, when the direction of light falls just right on a historic building, or when your curious wandering eye notices an unusual colourful character.

In this Street Photography Workshop, your professional experienced tutor, and Kings Cross local of many years, will guide you through the best equipment for street photography and the optimum settings; teach you how to ‘see’ a strong image; create strong composition; and explain when to press your shutter button in that ‘decisive moment’. Importantly, you will also be informed about your legal rights and ethics while shooting on the streets. Who better to guide you through this experience than a local resident who intimately knows and understands the location!

Dust off your camera and pull on those walking shoes... it's time to go shooting!

This workshop covers a broad range of topics adapting to the changing lighting conditions and unpredictability of the urban environment.

Tap into Glenn's creative process and techniques as he guides you through the incredibly photogenic urban landscape around Kings Cross exploring the colourful streets in the environment of one of Sydney's oldest bustling districts.

Restart or recharge your creative mind, train your creative eye, brush up on your photography skills or just expand on what you already know. You will definitely walk away from this Workshop having learned something new.
