Intermediate/Advanced Photography Course - Perth | Focus 10 | 7 hours

A series of workshops will cover wildlife, landscapes, portraits, architecture, product, food, action and more. Places visited include wildlife and nature photography at Perth Zoo and historic UWA where we focus on architecture and portraiture. Your instructors are professional commercial photographers allowing you to draw upon their depth of knowledge.

■ Equipment review, your camera, your lenses & systems

■ Accessories, filters, tripods, reflectors, external Speedlites

■ Landscapes, portraiture, still life, architecture, nature

■ Shooting modes, RAW vs JPEG, bracketing, HDR, picture style

■ Cameraderie with fellow photographers & sharing camera skills

• An analysis of popular DSLR cameras, lenses, and accessories
• Unusual viewpoints & tilting / lens perspective / high contrast / colour harmony / motion
• Use of light on water, clouds, silhouettes, shadows, twilight
• Operation of external flash unit
• Flare for effect and star bursting
