Our tour will begin at Elizabeth Quay. From here we will head towards the iconic Blue Boatshed (one of the most photographed buildings in Perth) before heading to Matilda Bay. Here we have a beautiful vista of Perth and often local birdlife frequent the area. It is also an area much used by locals for picnics and water based activities.
UWA is straight over the road and offers some splendid architecture and fauna.
Our next stop is Kings Park. Kings Park is one of the world's largest inner city parks and is rich in Aboriginal History. It offers innovative design and displays and is home to over 3000 species of the state's unique flora. There are also sweeping views of the city and Swan River. We will stop for a light lunch at a local restaurant.
We now head to South Perth and walk along the foreshore taking photographs of the city, local bird life, and flora. We will catch the ferry to Elizabeth Quay and explore this area which has a water playground, promenades and carousel.
